About Kids Academy
Our Story
At Kids Academy, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment where they can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. Our founder, Lisa Novik, brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, holding a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, an Early Childhood Education Certificate, a Bachelor's Degree in Science, and (registered behavior technician) RBT training.
She also has extensive experience working with children with special needs especially those on the autism spectrum. With a deep passion for fostering inclusive, play-based learning environments, Lisa has managed preschools, trained diverse staff, and navigated county regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.
Kids Academy is the culmination of her vision—a warm, nature-connected space where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our Location
Kids Academy is located in the Dunn Loring neighborhood of Fairfax County, at 2501 Gallows Rd. Our convenient location is less than a mile from the Dunn Loring Metro Station and about 2.5 miles south of Tysons Corner Metro Station and Tysons Corner Center.
We proudly serve families from Dunn Loring, Falls Church, and McLean communities. We currently operate Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, with plans to extend our hours to include before and after-school care in the near future.

Through hands-on experiences and exploration, we foster each child's unique growth in a warm, inclusive environment. Our program introduces children to different languages through play, offering the best rates for half-day and full-day programs, as well as a drop-off option.
